Android joins the on-device club
Lven Instant's mobile build now transcribes entirely on the phone.
When Lven Instant launched, the on-device promise held on Windows and Linux while the Android build still leaned on the server. That gap is closed: Lven Instant for Android is live on Google Play, and it transcribes with the same class of on-device engine as the desktop builds. Your microphone audio is processed on the phone, converted to text on the phone, and discarded on the phone.
The speech model downloads during setup and transcription then runs locally. Account traffic remains separate: the app checks profile and entitlement state and refreshes its account token when needed. Those requests carry account metadata, not microphone audio or transcript text; offline availability depends on a cached entitlement.
We also tightened the trust story around every download. Each direct download on classeve.com — Windows, Linux, and every APK — now lists its exact version and file size next to the button, and the security page carries one canonical answer for where audio and text go, per product. If a claim is on the site, you can verify it.
macOS and iPhone are coming soon. One subscription covers every platform as it ships.
